Wow!!

It has been waaaaaayyyyyy too long since I was on here last. I have been dealing with a lot since that last post. I'm not at Sears anymore. Now I am pumping up my photography portfolio.

My New Job!

I have a new job. I am working at the Sears Portrait Studio in Jordan Landing. When I was interviewed I was told they were looking for an Assistant Mangaer. I was really excited about that. But it was to be filled in November, not right away. It was just what I was looking for in order to further my knowledge and experience in photography. Well, I started on the 15th of this month. It's been going great. I have one several sittings and am getting the hang of shooting in a studio setting.
On Saturday, the 23rd, I got a phone call from my manager. Marcy said she had some reslly good news for me. She said that I was being given a promotion and was the new Assitant Manager!! She and the District Manager had been talking and when they discussed me, Shar, the DM, asked why I hadn't been made Assitant Manager yet. So they made the decision to call me and tell me rather than waiting until I came in next. I was so excited!!! Here I was, thinking I would have to wait for a few months before a decision was made, and only a week after starting, I got the job!!!! Yeah for me!!
So, if you are looking to get pictures taken and you can get to West Jordan, UT, call up Sears and ask for me (Jenn) to do your photo shoot!

Loving this!!

I had the wonderful opportunity to do a few photo shoots with my oldest niece, who will be a senior this year. We did one in Idaho and a few more in Colorado. Here are some of my favorites:

More Photo Shoots!!!! And a Question.

I have not just one photo shoot to do, but 5!!!! I am so excited!! This is exactly what I have been wanting for years! Now I am finally getting the chance to do the thing I love the most... and get paid for it!!
So, does anyone have thoughts on copyrights? Should I start this now, or wait until I'm a little more known? If I do copyright my photos, what should I charge for getting them printed?
